Jana Beller (born 27 October 1990[1] in Omsk)[2][3] is a Russian German model, best known for winning the sixth cycle of Germany's Next Top Model.[4][5]

Early life

After being born in the Soviet Union to Germans from Russia parents she moved to Germany when she was a child. In 2009 she was featured in a documentary that showed ambitious girls attempting to start a modelling career.[6]

Germany's Next Top Model

Beller won the 6th Season of Germany's Next Top Model. She was declared the winner in a live finale on July 9, 2011. Her prizes included 100,000Eu in money and a 300,000Eu contract with the Agency "One Eins", under the management of host Heidi Klum's father. However, after problems fulfilling her contractual obligations in the first two months, particularly at Berlin Fashion Week, she was effectively fired from her prize contract with agency "One Eins". Rumor has it that problems with Heidi Klum's father, Günther Klum, contributed to the contract's end.[7] She has since signed with a new agency, Louisa Models.[8]
